The body responds to the presence of the water and through its own muscular activity releases waste into the outflow tube and down the drain. There is no odor because the waste goes into the tube and down the drain. We use disposable speculums, tubing and draping. The colonic takes about 40  to 60 minutes but the appointment time is 90 minutes allowing the client time to change and receive information from the colon therapist. Clients lie on a massage table during the session wearing a gown and towels to preserve modesty.  Colonics can be enhanced with the use of an add on service of heated infared biomat or the use of vibrational (PEMF) pulse electromagnetic device during the colonic.  During the session the colon therapist massages the reflexology points of the feet as well as the lower back and abdomen to help the recipient relax and assist the body to release waste. Clients typically report feelings of lightness of being as well as having more energy after the session.

Try to eat only veggies and  fruit .  Drink vegetable juices and water the day before and the day of the colonic. Chicken and fish are ok.  Avoid red meat, dairy, sugar, chewing gum, alcohol and soy products for 24 hours before the appointment. It is helpful to eat or drink beet juice the day before and/or the day of.  Do not eat solid food for 2 hours before your appointment.  Water and veggie drinks are ok.  Please note colonics are contradicated if your are prenant, if you are over 80, have active colitis, Crohn's or inflammatory bowel disease, heart dease or if you're actively trying to conceive.
